In October last year, we were blessed to be able to spend two weeks with Graham and Sarah, who are based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Now we have returned to Bulawayo, initially for 3 months, where we have rented a house.
Under the Apostolic Leadership of the New Creation Church in Bulawayo, the four of us will be involved in a Church plant in Umguza, a poor rural area to the north of the City. The church is called Thembalezizwe and the Thembalezizwe Trust has acquired 8 acres of land with ambitious plans to build a new church; school; accommodation and farming facilities. Andrea and I have been asked to manage the farming initiative on behalf of the Trust, using the Farming God’s Way method and principles. Abantwana Bethemba is also based in Umguza and the plans are to expand this school on the new complex. Andrea will spend two days a week supporting Sarah in the school environment.
